Welcome to the QUARANTINE QUEEN VIRTUAL RACE.
We are gathering Queens around the country to run or walk a 5k (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles) or a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) as a way to burn off the crazy during these last few months of 2020!
Where is this "Virtual Race"?
Anywhere you want! Our Virtual Run or Walk can be completed in your own neighborhood, at a local park, or even the treadmill. Sign up and then gather some friends, decide on a route, and then plan how you'll celebrate! A virtual run is a great way to gather with friends and family, and will motivate you to go a little further, push yourself to compete and help raise money for breast cancer research while staying active! Plus, you get the sweet shirt to show off after you've finished!
What do you get when you register for the event?
- The "official" shirt of 2020
Show off the fact that you're handling Quarantine with the finesse and dignity of a QUEEN! The shirts feature our official "Quarantine Queen" logo and are designed for quarantine comfort! Choose a soft, cotton women's fit tshirt, or opt for a long-sleeve cotton unisex shirt for a slight upcharge. (For shirt sizing charts, click here.)
*Please note that shirts orders are processed and mailed out approximately 3-4 days after a registration is purchased. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, shirts can take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
- The IYR Virtual Mobile App
The IYR Virtual Mobile app can be used to track your race and automatically post your results! See "How to Use the IYR Virtual Mobile App" section below for full instructions
- A Custom Finisher Certificate
Once you've finished your event and submitted your results, find your name under the results and download your official Quarantine Queen Virtual Race finisher certificate. Print that baby out and frame it to proudly display your accomplishment during the 2020 Quarantine!
Who are you running for?
10% of all race proceeds from this event will go directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We believe in their mission to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world's most promising research.
Are there awards?
Kind of! Since we can't 100% verify the times of every participant, we want you to feel like you're in a real race and run for an award! We're selecting 3 random participants that upload their results to receive a high-quality, custom-made Quarantine Queen stainless steel wine glass.. Those winners will be announced on our Facebook page and contacted within the first two weeks of January, 2021.

Congratulations! Now the fun begins!
1) Gather some friends (but be sure to maintain proper social distancing!) and see if they're interested in participating too!
2) Get ready to run or walk with the IYR Virtual Mobile app!
- Download the IYR Virtual app on Apple or Google Play.
- Login or Create your ITS YOUR RACE Account. If you did not create an ITS YOUR RACE account when you registered, create an ITS YOUR RACE account **using the same email address that you registered with**.

3) Have fun and take pictures!
We'll also be sure to share all of the photos using the #QuarantineQueenRace on social media, so please use that tag with your favorite photos from your race!
